Redirecting Unlinked Messages to the Assigned Messages and My Messages sections

We have removed the Unlinked Messages section from the Secure Messages section for all users, these messages will now be directed straight into Assigned Messages (admin/reception users) and My Messages (doctor users).

Instead of having to go to the Unlinked Messages to link a new patient that does not exist yet or linking a patient that does not match with a patient in the practice, the message can be linked and actioned from the one place. This will reduce the time spent moving messages through the different sections.

Improved format for received Secure Messages

We have improved the format of received Secure Messages to ensure that information is in an easy to read format. If an investigation result is attached to a letter this will be correctly aligned and show the same information as when received into the Lab Results section.

Improvements when adding/editing a contact that uses Medical Objects

When adding secure messaging details against a contact, if Medical Objects is selected as the Preferred Method of Messaging, the Medical Objects field will become mandatory. This reduces errors when entering contact information.

When searching the Medical Objects directory, you can now search using the Medical Objects Identifier, this will display in the Medical Objects field if the contact does not have a provider number.  This allows you to send secure messages to contacts that do not have a provider number, increasing the number of people you can send to electronically rather than via post.

For any Contacts that already exist in your practice contact list we will be automatically updating these to the correct identifier, where applicable.
