How to set up Favourites

Optimise your experience with Clinic to Cloud by setting up Favourites. Having favourites will make your day-to-day tasks simpler and faster. 

Take the time to set up the following favourites:

 IMPORTANT: To set up the above favourites, you may need to create a test patient.
Please create a test patient before setting up your favourites.

SMS Favourites


Create SMS Favourites to write out a commonly used message once to save time when using the same message in future. 

  1. Click the 'Send SMS' icon
  2. Type your SMS Template using the tags to the left
  3. Click 'Save as Favourite'
  4. Name the Favourite
  5. Repeat the above to add more SMS Templates

Label Favourites

 
Create Label Favourites to select a commonly used label template to save time when using the same template in future. 

  1. Click the 'Settings' icon
  2. Select 'Printing Templates' in the settings menu
  3. Click 'Add New Favourite'
  4. Tick the preferred label options
  5. 'Save'
  6. Repeat the above to add more Label Favourites

Report Favourites

 
Create Report Favourites to select commonly reports, filtered correctly to save time when running reports in future. 

  1. Click 'Report' from the left column
  2. Select 'General Reports'
  3. Select the preferred report and filter accordingly 
  4. Once report selected and filtered, click 'Save as Favourite' and Name the Favourite
  5. Repeat the above to add more Report Favourites

Fee Estimate Favourites

 
Create Fee Estimate Favourites for commonly used procedures to save time when quoting patients for a specific procedure in future. 

  1. Click the 'Procedure/Fee Estimate' icon and use a 'Test Patient'
  2. Select the Doctor, Location, Procedure, Type of Patient and Type of Fee Estimate then click 'Create'
  3. In the Fee Estimate tab - Add the 'Billing Item' numbers
  4. Type 'Patient Notes for Theatre List'
  5. Add a Fee Estimate Template in 'Introduction Text' and 'Notes Text'

  6. In the Procedure tab - Fill the relevant Procedure Detail fields
  7. In the Checklist tab - Select the relevant Checklist

  8. Click 'Save as Favourite'
  9. Name the Favourite
  10. Repeat the above to add more Fee Estimate Favourites

Printing Middleware Favourites


Create Printing Middleware Favourites for all locations you may visit to easily change printing settings rather than have to configure each printing setting while on the move. 

  1. Download Printing Middleware
  2. Double click Printing Middleware icon to open 
  3. Select Setup for all relevant options
  4. Click 'Create New Favourite' and Name Favourite
  5. Repeat the above to add more Printing Favourites

Private Fees and Favourite Item Numbers 


Create Private Fee Favourites and set your Favourite Item Numbers to easily invoice the patient before finishing a consult, with the correct Private Fees. 

  1. Click the 'Settings' icon
  2. Select 'My Settings' in the settings menu if a clinician or go to 'Users > Edit > Update & Configure' if an admin
  3. Go to 'Private Fees' and/or 'Favourite Item Numbers'
  4. Click 'Add Override' to add private fees and/or 'Add Item' to add favourite item numbers
  5. Repeat the above to add more Private Fees and/or Favourite Item Numbers

Lab Request Favourites

 
Create Lab Request Favourites for commonly used Lab Requests to save time when making requests for patients.

  1. Click the 'Settings' icon
  2. Select 'My Settings' in the settings menu if a clinician or go to 'Users > Edit > Update & Configure' if an admin
  3. Go to 'Lab Request Forms' to filter and select the forms you would like to use
  4. Create an Appointment with a Test Patient and Start a Consult
  5. Go to Pathology and Imaging to Make a Request
  6. Fill all relevant fields in the Pathology/Imaging Request window 
  7. Click 'Save as Favourite' and Name the favourite
  8. Repeat the above to add more Pathology and Imaging Result Favourites

Consult Note/Auto Fill Favourites


Create Current Consult Auto Fill Favourites for commonly used sentences, phrases, lists and/or templates to select from rather then start from scratch every time when writing your consult notes.

  1. Create an Appointment with a Test Patient and Start a Consult
  2. Go to 'Current Consult' and click the 'Plus Icon' next to the respected box
  3. Click 'Add Item', type a phrase, list or template then click the Tick Icon
  4. Start typing the start of the Auto Fill for it to appear and select
  5. Repeat the above to add more Private Fees and/or Favourite Item Numbers

Invoice/Message to Reception Favourites


Create Invoice/Message to Reception Favourites for commonly used consults to save time when billing a patient for a standard consult. 

  1. Create an Appointment with a Test Patient and Start a Consult
  2. Enter test notes in 'Current Consult'
  3. Click 'Finish Consult'
  4. Select the Type of Patient, Type of Invoice, Billing Items and Message to Receptionist then click 'Save as Favourite'
  5. Repeat the above to add more Invoice/Message to Reception Favourites

Operation Report Favourites

 
Create multiple Operation Report Favourites for commonly used procedures to save time when creating an operation report for patients. 

  1. Click the 'Operation Report' icon
  2. Select a 'Test Patient'
  3. Go to the 'Details' tab and fill all relevant fields 
  4. Click 'Save as Favourite'
  5. Repeat the above to add more Operation Report Favourites
